Mounting Instructions: (click here for illustrated mounting instructions)

1. SELECT LOCATION; DETERMINE BOLT LENGTH

Using the post mount as a template, pencil the hole location onto the

mounting substrate. Drill hole with 3/8" drill bit. If hole already exists, align

post mount with hole. Note you can install the mount through a larger hole

than 3/8", Just be sure the washer you use is larger than the hole. Measure

required bolt length and purchase a stainless steel 3/8" bolt of appropriate

length, 2 washers and nut.

2. INSTALL MOUNT

With a rachet and pliers place bolt with washer through the inside hole of

the post mount and connect nut on opposite side (ad washer first). Securely

tighten the nut. Place black plastic cap over the open end of the mount and

push down until top of cap touches the top of the post mount.

3. INSTALL MANTIS

Now place the Mantis assembly onto the vertical post of the

bracket, and lock in place. Refer to the manual supplied with

Mantis for detailed instructions.
